The team the Packers are playing has a longer injury list, with more players not participating. I didn't think that was possible.

This is not a 'trap' game in my view. GB has struggled on the road this year; not so much at home.

Panthers OL is more beat up than ours. I think they will be able to shut down the Panthers' running game. Dowdie is not a cannon ball like Warren; it'll be interesting to see if they stop him.

Areas shaded green will get Panthers at Packers. Adam Amin and Greg Olsen with the call.

Again, a big chunk of WI in the north and northwest does not get the Packers, but most of Michigan's U.P. does. This has been going on for a few years.

Are there more Viking fans than Packer fans in that part of the state? Or do they get their TV from Minneapolis and Duluth stations? Pretty sure it only happens when Packers and Vikings are both playing at noon.

No, it is staunchly Packers' territory. They were Packer fans long before the Vikings came into existence. The only Viking fans I knew were Minnesota transplants.

The north gets TV out of Duluth, but cable providers had always been able to include other WI stations to bring in the Packer games. When I lived up there, we could get the Vikings out of Duluth, and the Packers out of Wausau. As I understand the situation now, a few years ago, the NFL issued their decree on what areas were the various teams' "home territories" and cable providers couldn't provide multiple broadcasts. Northern WI was declared to be Vikings territory and cable providers were no longer allowed to bring in the Packer games when the Vikings were playing. Irritated a lot of people.

WASHINGTON (WLUK) -- Two Wisconsin lawmakers are teaming up on new legislation that would guarantee all Wisconsinites can watch broadcasts of Green Bay Packers games.

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D) and Rep. Tony Wied, R-8th District, introduced the "Go Pack Go Act" to ensure Packers fans, no matter where they live across the state, can tune in to watch the green and gold.

More than 415,000 people in 13 Wisconsin counties are assigned to an out-of-state market -- either Minnesota or Michigan. As a result, Packers fans in those counties end up with Minnesota Vikings or Detroit Lions broadcasts on their TVs, instead of Packers games, when those teams are playing at the same time.

It also means Wisconsinites in these counties cannot receive some, or any, TV broadcast stations based in Wisconsin, making for a lack of access to programming such as local and state news and sports.

"Regardless of where you live, every Wisconsinite should be able to cheer on the Green and Gold,” said Baldwin in a news release. “But right now, hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites live in communities where they could get Vikings or Lions games broadcast on their TVs instead of Packers games. It’s wrong and that’s why I’m fighting to fix it so every Packers fan across our state can watch our team play."

“Nothing brings Wisconsinites together quite like the Packers,” Wied added in the release. “The Go Pack Go Act is about making sure every Packers fan, from Douglas to Door County, can watch their team without being forced to endure Vikings or Lions broadcasts. I’m happy to join Senator Baldwin to lead this common sense, bipartisan legislation. If you live in the land of Lambeau, you deserve to see the Green and Gold every Sunday. No exceptions.”

The "Go Pack Go Act" would require cable and satellite providers to give their Wisconsin subscribers access to programming from broadcast television stations in a Wisconsin media market.

Packers fans in the following Wisconsin counties would benefit from the Go Pack Go Act:

Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, Iron and Sawyer counties (Duluth-Superior media market)
Barron, Burnett, Dunn Polk, Pierce, St. Croix, and Washburn counties (Twin Cities media market)
Florence County (Marquette, Michigan media market)

To be fair, there's nearly as many Packer fans as Viking fans in Minneapolis.

Not sure that any state legislative action will stick. Broadcast is federally regulated by the FCC.

As things stand right now, no one with Youtube TV will be getting the game Monday night due to a dispute between Disney and Google. I would expect it to get resolved.

I assume it also affects "Sunday Ticket" subscribers since that is now delivered by YouTube but do you know for certain? I ask because "YouTube TV" and "Sunday Ticket" are two different products within the YouTube-verse.

They’re stuck paying $82.99 a month for a service that just lost massive amounts of sports content, or they’re out hundreds of dollars on Sunday Ticket with zero recourse.
So yes, Sunday Ticket subscribers are affected.

Worthy of note is the key word "Sunday" in that the Sunday Ticket subscription only gives you out of market games on, you guessed it, Sunday.

Pirate streaming still exists if you're a tech enabled mofo. Otherwise off to the bar with you, you pesky subscribers!
