  • A Little Perspective

The last time the Packers went to the Super Bowl they were 5-3 after 8 games. They had lost games to mediocre Washington and Miami teams. Aaron Rodgers had thrown 9, yes 9 interceptions. They had lost their star TE, Jermichael Finley to a season-ending knee injury.

Don't know how things will turn out, but we're not even to the point where the contenders start separating themselves from the pretenders. 1 game separates the #1 seed Eagles from the #8 seed Bears.

Guess we could tell ourselves the humiliation from Sunday will get taken out on the hated eagles?

        That's the plan.

Not sure the Packers have the horses, especially along offensive line.

We also were loaded with legit weapons. Jennings, James Jones, Jordy Nelson and I think Donald.

Jennings was so elite as a route runner.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

C'mon fellas. The left guard on that team was Daryn Colledge. A player this board wanted gone long before the SB run.

And Jennings was exactly one year removed from everyone wishing he was Chad Jackson.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

As I recall, he was smallish as Guards go. One thing I always liked about Meyers is that he was big for a Center, but then I always preferred road graders as O Linemen.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Come on. He was way better than Meyers. I doubt meyers will ever start again barring injuries.

Myers is only starting because all-pro center Apollo Creed is injured. The same Apollo Creed the German Shepherd (Gutekunst) bypassed for Myers in the 2021 draft.
