      Newest Colts CB: Sauce.

The Jets are getting 2 first-rounders and WR AD Mitchell for Sauce Gardner.

The Colts get Sauce Gardner for next 5.5 years under a contract worth $131.5M -- taking out what NYJ already paid. $625k for the remainder of 2025 and then an average of $26.1M for the next 5 years.

In hindsight, I think I woulda rather had something like that than the Parsons deal.

They were unintentionally tanking anyway, might as well make it a plan and get a ton of picks.

I called the Jets up and tried to trade for Hannah Brooke, Jermaine Johnson's wife, but it was a no go. We'd agreed to compensation and everything, but she said she wouldn't report if traded to me.

For those who don't know, here's a pic. It took me quite a long time to realize there's a picture of a book I'm absolutely certain she isn't even reading in the aforementioned pic.

Semi reliable cowboy souce but still speculation on reports that police were called for welfare check, ended up in a police pursuit and Kneeland shot himself near the cowboys facilities (the star).

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland died Thursday morning from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a police chase, authorities said. He was 24.

At about 10:33 p.m. on Wednesday, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Keller Springs Blvd, Frisco police said.

The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit where troopers lost sight of the vehicle, police said.

The vehicle was later located abandoned and had been involved in a crash on the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway. Initial reports showed that Kneeland fled the scene on foot, police said. Officers established a perimeter and searched the area with the assistance of K-9 and drone units. Though it is not clear from whom, police received information that Kneeland had expressed suicidal ideations.

DPS troopers, along with Frisco police, found the driver, Kneeland, dead at about 1:31 a.m. from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Jerry Minton, a spokesman for the Plano Police Department, said Plano officers responded about 11:40 p.m. to a “welfare concern” at an address associated with Kneeland, but no contact was made. Frisco fire department and Collin County medical examiner’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Dallas Morning News.

Dallas/Warren in frisco is blocks from the Star.

Feels like Belcher/Chiefs all over again.

CTE at 24? not unprecedented (Belcher was 25, the NY NFL HQ shooter was 27).

Concerning if it was. Unlike Belcher, Kneeland played HS, college and NFL football after the emphasis on preventing it. No word on if he left the evidence intact.

No matter what the underlying cause, it's a sad situation.
