  • Parsons - a team first guy.

Listening to and reading about Micah Parsons has me developing a very positive opinion about him as a "team first" player, and this is an example of that:

After the Pittsburgh game, the coaches awarded a game ball to Parsons. He said he was not the one who deserved it, and in turn gave it to Rashan Gary.

That was a nice gesture, and a lot of the time the concentration on him has made others seem better. I'm not quite as positive about Parsons as I was, though. There comes a time when overall performance, his and the ones benefiting from teams concentrating on him, needs to be better. The comparison IMO would be Miles Garrett, and Garrett seems to make a lot more plays than Parsons. I often refer to the Packers pass rush as like "warning track power" in baseball - always almost, never or very seldom finishing the job.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Correct or not, its the kind of move that inspires team mates. I bet Gary would walk through a brick wall if Parsons asked him to after that.

        Awesome detail.

I had my questions about Parsons as well.
