PITTSBURGH -- Help is on the way for the banged-up Pittsburgh Steelers' secondary.

The Steelers are signing cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. to the team's practice squad, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Lions placed TE Sam LaPorta on injured reserve due to his back injury, sidelining him a minimum of four games.

            That's a big loss for that offense. Now it's St. Brown, Williams, and . . . .

Their entire secondary is injured, too. Wow.

PITTSBURGH -- The initial concern is that Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has "a slight break" in his left, non-throwing wrist, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The quarterback will undergo further testing Monday to determine the full extent of the injury and how long he'll be sidelined, league sources told Schefter.

Maybe PHI is really good and last weeks loss isn't as big a warning as people were acting.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

More surprised that he lasted this long. His shift to getting the ball out quickly helped him for a while, but couldn't last forever.

                    *raises hand sheepishly*

They absolutely bitch slapped the Lions. IDK if I'm making this up in my head but I recall the Pack giving a better game.

The Falcons are placing QB Michael Penix Jr. on injured reserve, per source, with his left-knee injury. They're working through it with specialists now to determine the severity. But it is an ACL injury.
The Falcons decision to sign Kirk Cousins to a #180 million contract, and then draft Penix 6 weeks later with the #8 overall pick just looks better and better.

I thought the games were somewhat similar. Low scoring, defenses dominating. For a team with as decimated a secondary as the Loins have, they played damn well.

But the Loins offense . . . lots of struggles there. Kinda like the Packers.

And Dan Campbell going for it on the fake punts on fourth down - if you stay awake you can stop that. As the Iggles did.

By the way, listening to Detroit sports radio today - they're all already looking ahead to Thanksgiving and are confident the Loins will put a beat down on Green Bay.

                          The scores were very close.

Pride goeth before the fall. We will see. I recall the Pack absolutely scorching them in their house just a couple years ago.
