  • Studs and Duds, Packers at G-men, 2025.

    Stud:

Numero Uno. Consistently produces in a most timely fashion.

    Go.

    Studs: the offensive "skill" players

Duds: both the O Line and D Line, pretty much the whole coaching staff

Dudish but not as bad as usual: the DBs

I almost forgot, Dud: Drew Brees as a commentator.

What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Absolute Stud : Milik Willis. Stepped in on a seconds notice and took it home. Didn’t miss a beat. I’m old and ugly, but if I were MLF I’d leave him in the game, see what the cat can do.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

stud: Chris Brooks on the block and Savion on the catch. Watson -- 2 of 3 on big catches.

Love had a good game. He's not the problem.

Defense shut down the game at the end again. Good to see.

I'm not gonna mention duds cuz it doesn't need pointing out. Just hoping they can get better down the stretch or it'll be a short post season. Savion will be dangerous if he can learn to run routes.

Doubs is a “skill” position player. He was a dud.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Was nice to see the run game and the pass block game work with Wilson and Brooks. Hopefully they take some of the load off Jacobs.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Wicks also turned a first down catch (on a second down in the first half) into a 3rd down play by trying to get cute and cut back. For a team struggling to keep drives going, it was not clutch.

I know I'll get some shit for saying this, but I wonder if it's a blessing in disguise that Jacobs was injured (though I hope not seriously). It forced The Flower to rethink the offense a little bit, and with either Whylie or Brooks in the backfield, the running game picked up.

You can thank Mark “Dirty” Sanchez for Brees. Sanchez just gotta get drunk and pick up a fight with an old dude for no reason. Got terminated. Brees’ the replacement.

Chris Brooks' pass pro on the big play to Savion Williams alone should put him on the stud list. https://x.com/i/status/1990158086007554105

Savion is starting to make some noise. Not a 'stud', but it's promising to see him getting more opportunities.

Doubs was at least as much good as bad. I tend to think lingering effects of that chest injury - rib or sternum or whatever - had something to do with his uncharacteristic drops.

Musgrave is also a "skill' position player, though, and he seems to have sunk to 3rd best TE even after Kraft is gone.

Someone having as much good as bad doesn’t make them a stud.

Brees made numerous factual errors as well as sounding blatantly anti-Packer. The guy broadcasting with him was no prize either. The one I can recall was "big third down play" right after the Packers stopped them on 4th down. There were others too.

I think he had two drops before that late injury, didn't he? Or did he hurt himself in the first half?
