Rhyan, bad as he was at Guard, was pretty decent at Center. To me, that says that it's a lot easier to play with quality as a Center, and it shouldn't be that hard to find or cross train somebody. The main problem with Rhyan going forward is he seemed pretty seriously injured. Anybody know what his health status is?
What I definitely don't want is a shrimp at Center - somebody who was an undersized but pretty good college Center.

Weak center draft. At least last year they thought Rhyan was more playable than Monk. Its a hole. More NT available in the draft and not as desperate of a need. Just my 2 cents.Originally posted by Fritz View PostIt’s unLikely they’ll sign him.
Can they afford to sign Lindebaum? Is Jacob Monk in play as a starter? Is there a college center who could come in and start and play well as a rookie?
Sounds like they’re not going to find a nose tackle in FA.

In recent years, you would usually win if you bet the over on the Packers. Last year was not one of those years.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostI'll definitely take the OVER on that.

That is sad. Kid had so much going for him, but it just shows that mental illness is a very real thing that supersedes anything else that is going on. I've seen some of it firsthand and I'm as grateful for my mental health as I am for physical.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore died on Saturday in southern Indiana, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini and Fox 9's Ahmad Hicks. That's really sad news. We too often don't know what is going on inside peoples' minds until it is too late.

Unless things have changed in Hammond, there isn't a lot of hotel rooms and other infrastructure to get 80,000 to the game from downtown Chicago. The Horseshoe Casino doesn't have a hotel in Hammond. You have to go like 4 miles away to get a passable room.Originally posted by pbmax View PostThe Gary Bears have a nice ring to it. They deserve it. And the traffic that will go along with it.
