From Minnesota to Green Bay: Former Vikings DT Javon Hargrave reached agreement today on a 2-year deal for $23 million, including $13 million this year with the Packers, per Drew Rosenhaus.

Hargrave had his best year in 2022 for Eagles when Gannon was DC.
So Jonathan Ford and Hargrave on the d line plus the youngsters, plus Brooks and Van Ness on pass rush downs and guessing at least one draft pick.

Playing time factors in. Sky won't get many snaps outside of returns so I doubt this cancels anything.

The Colts and QB Daniel Jones are finalizing a two-year, $88 million deal that can be worth up to $100 million with incentives, sources tell me and @rapsheet.bsky.social

Originally on the transition tag, Indiana Jones gets over $60 million guaranteed on a deal done by Athletes First.
He's almost doing Kirk level work by playing worse. Got a fifth year option from the Giants by having one well timed good year. Got hurt that next year and got a mulligan second contract from the Giants.

A year later the Colts found him and have now gifted him the rest of that second contract.

Raiders star Maxx Crosby, now back from Baltimore with the trade to the Ravens off, is headed back into the building in Las Vegas, ready to resume his training and rehab program.

His mindset: Crosby is ready to play football for the Raiders and move forward.

Cap as of now. Don't be fooled by the $32 mil space number. Still more contracts to count against it. Think $18 million in functional space. Per Ken Ingall's Twitter.

Cowboys were supposed to be interested in Maxx Crosby too and his failure to land on the Ravens might have put a damper on trading for Gary (nothing can be official before later today).

But Diana Russini from the Athletic reports Cowboys won't be going down that path. Gary deal should close as discussed.

Nothing is prettier than the streets of Baltimore at night, but I reckon, Vegas ain’t too bad at night, either. Then again, what do I know? I ain’t ever been to Baltimore and have only been to Vegas twice - and I spent the majority of the nights there holed up inside grinding at poker.

He may not strictly be "Packer people", but if he is a shutdown Corner or near it, I'd be glad to have him. I also hope we give up on Hobbs and demote Nixon - if he's our top Corner, the situation is not improved. We also need to get one, maybe two high draft pick Corners.

It wouldn't hurt to get an Edge Rusher as a FA, but I don't really think it's an urgent need. Ditto that for D Line. Of the two, Karl Brooks is better than Wooden, so we retained the right one IMO.

I see Doubs is gone to the Patriots for $20 million a year either 3 or 4 years. He's good, but not that good, especially with the concussion history.
We discussed St-Juste a bit in this thread earlier.
