Maybe. OL is an area flower hasn't managed well. I think back to 2x that we had stabilized around the bak injury with Yosh playing LT (average) only to promptly bench him for the playoff game. Both times that backfired. Overall I like MiLF as the HC, but he isn't perfect. Gutes on the other hand is a tire fire. He has lived off 1 good draft and a lot of TTs past picks. Now the roster is 100% his and he has to trade and mortgage the future for the 7 seed each year.

Packers announce new coaching staff. https://www.packers.com/team/coaches-roster/ Defensive coaching titles point to 3-4 base. Covington goes from DL coach to OLB coach. He may have longest job title ever on Packers:

Outside Linebackers/Run Game Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach - Defense

All depends on how bad you would to suffer the next year.

Who is everybody? I remember a discussion of how much dead money it would cost, not everyone saying that that it was impossible. I said we should have traded him and rolled the dice on Willis

hahahaha Yeah right. You make me want to root for the Dolphins. Irrational panic or whatever aside, they'll get by, and they might even win some games.

I say again, the salary cap is overrated as a problem.

Miami has more dead cap space then what they have in active players on either side of the ball.

This is a total rebuild. They can't sign anyone else. I am not sure they have the cap space to sign their picks.

TRADE: Broncos trading for Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle.

Broncos get Jaylen Waddle and Dolphins’ 2026 4th-round pick.

Dolphins get the Broncos' 2026 1st round pick (30th overall), 3rd-round and 4th-round picks.

Got it, I misinterpreted what you were trying to say.

I don't think Gute is telling MLF who should play where on the OLine. Gute is not MLF's boss. Those decisions are being made by MLF and Steno.

I forgot about the gun charge Walker faces in NY. That likely didn't help him at all.

Trevon Diggs? Haven't heard squat on the Packer front or anywhere else. Maybe the Packers saw enough in the limited time they had him? Just weird. It's obvious Packers need CB depth. He can't be asking for a shit ton of money.

Packers back up QB? If the Malik Willis experiment proved anything, you need a good back up in this league. A 6th rounder no name QB from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is not going to win you games if and when Love goes down for a spell. I heard rumors of Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Jimmy Garoppolo, but just rumors. I don't want Jimmy Garoppolo - he's too old. Let's keep with the trend; a younger QB that hasn't panned out and are mobile.

Veteran NT? I think the Packers still need a veteran NT. Hargrave isn't the answer in my opinion. He can do it, but just be cause he can, doesn't mean he should. He's not the type of DT for taking on double teams, he's best suited for one gap and penetrate. Someone like DJ Reader is who the Packers should think about.

It's still early, so maybe the Packers aren't done yet.
The rumor is an Anthony Richardson trade. It fits the Malik mold. A super green athletic QB that needed time, and now that he has some time in his current team is done with him because he wasn't Lamaar on day one. He didn't play last year so we have no idea if he improved at all, but again, the mold is the same.
