My guess is you're not going to see any blockbuster signings by the Packers. But I think you could see a couple more low-mid level signings.Originally posted by Vincenzo View PostI get quality CB’s don’t come cheap, but it just feels like we’re bargain no frills shopping with St-Juste. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how he fairs with the Packers.

Hobbs was released with a June 1 designation. That means on June 1 Packers will gain 8.8 million in cap space.

Played 37% of offensive snaps, starting 2 games and 72% of special teams snaps.
11. Benjamin St-Juste, Los Angeles Chargers (76.3)
Thanks to a change of scenery from Washington to Los Angeles, St-Juste enjoyed a career revival in 2025. Despite not playing a full-time role in the Chargers' secondary, the fifth-year cornerback showcased how high his ceiling can be in the right system. St-Juste displayed quality zone instincts that allowed him to earn a league-leading 90.1 PFF zone coverage grade.

Palissero - Source: “The Packers are releasing CB Nate Hobbs.”
End of an error - in other words, he was shit.

Benjamin St-Juste measurables per mockdraftable:
6-3 1/4: 98th percentile at CB
202 pounds: 84th percentile
78 5/8-inch wingspan: 89th percentile
32 5/8-inch arms: 87th percentile
A big, big, big corner.

“Free agent cornerback Benjamin St-Juste is on the move to Green Bay.
St-Juste has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Packers, according to NFL Network.”

Losing Quay is addition by subtraction. Losing Willis is unfortunate, but for the money he got, it had to happen. I'm thinking Ridder will be the next Willis. Losing Enagbare bothers me more than losing Quay, but he got $10 million for one year - that's too much. Bringing back Melton and Welch is good for both. I still wish they could keep Doubs, but the way money is being thrown around, he will undoubtedly get a ton too. We're loaded enough at WR that we can afford to lose him.
Being $30 million under the cap is NOT a good thing if that is the end of the story. That would be stupid. With that kind of money available, we ought to be able to sign a really high quality Corner - Lattimore for example. And we should still have money for something else if needed.
In addition to a top tier FA Corner, we should use at least one of our earliest draft picks for a quality Corner. The other positions mentioned wouldn't be bad to get, but they are not really positions of need.

Clearly Guter has something up his sleeve. Is he going to sign a corner? Woolen from Seattle? Then maybe a lower-level nose tackle, someone who has been cut elsewhere?Originally posted by Vincenzo View PostWe LOVE this!
He doesn't have many picks this year. Next year, depending on Doubs,Walker, and Walker, he'll have many picks. So pick up one higher-priced free agent, maybe a corner, and then drafta NT, corners, a tight end, maybe an offensive lineman, maybe a linebacker in case Franklin sucks?
