The only way that would work at this point is if the Packers put a franchise tag on him, to retain some level of ongoing team control. Right now, they have no team control.

Its just the math. No team is going to pony up more money and draft picks. If they are willing to pony up the money, they just wait.

The only position a team might be googly eyed enough to try this with might be QB. But its the most expensive option and I doubt teams would choose it.

Plus you have to defer the bonuses until after the trade which is a risk for the player. It almost would have to be guaranteed money.

He's about the same size as Micah Parsons.

Walker has certainly shown flashes. But it is for a game here or there. He has the potential but hasn't been the wow guy for a 1st rounder. Keep him on the team with a "good" deal otherwise let someone else overpay for his services.

Whatever we do, don't do an AJ Hawk. Where we pay a middle of the road LB a top of the line contract.

I think he signs a very friendly team deal or he is down the road.

He is OK but someone you are looking to replace for cheaper/better.

Mack would be 1 year older than Peppers was when he joined the Packers.

Give him the reverse Purdue DT whose name I can't remember treatment. Chunk that boy up!

The Dolphins are releasing veteran edge Bradley Chubb, per source.

Chubb had 8.5 sacks in 2025. He has been very injury prone in his career, playing in just 90 games in 8 years. He played in every game in 2025 after missing all of 2024 with an ACL.
