What's injury the update on LVN? We could sure use him to return but it seems perhaps the team brought him back early?

No updates today. MLF has PC tomorrow. LVN only played 6 snaps Sunday.

Lukas Van Ness looked like he limped off in some pain early on. Wasn't sure if it's the foot or a new injury. He played only six snaps.

On the one play I saw him on the field, after the play was over, dude was limping. Not awesome.

I heard from a friend via text just now that the Detroit Lions O-Line is all banged up. Parsons and company could have a chow-down on Jared Goff.

“The Lions’ offensive line, in particular, has endured numerous injuries, with four offensive linemen on injured reserve and multiple starters dealing with injury.

The offensive line has struggled, yes. But you've got to remember that teams have figured out how to negate that Packer pass rush by using the short passing game, and the Loins have Gibbs - some serious YAC there if Green Bay can't contain him the way they did the first time, and I doubt they can.

So you use Montgomery and Gibbs for runs, short passes to St. Brown, getting YAC there, and maybe an occasional throw to Williams. It could be tough.

And that Loins crowd will be on fire.

This Lions team is like the Packers in that they're kinda hard to figure out this year.

The Packer offensive line will have to be on their "A" game, especially in terms of assignments. You can't have Aidan Hutchinson coming free all the time.

I don't know how this will go. A tough game, most likely. But again, the Pack can't afford to get down by much early on.

This is real wouza news to me, especially learning they’ve lost 7 in a row.

I had them pegged as the team to beat coming into the season but I kept getting reminded that teams historically don’t respond well after a 15-2 season followed by a quick flop in the post season at home.
But the Lions have had talent injected into their team via the draft for years and years now and we see it with their speed and multi- talented players.

For me Thursday boils down to how Lafleur calls the game. If he keeps up with the ultra-conservative run-run-run play calling I’m afraid we are doomed. However if he opens it up taking chances with long throws down the field to the likes of Watson we could have a good chance.

It’s a HUGE game, Go Pack, Fritz!

IMO if they can limit Gibbs and force Goof to throw and then get a couple hits on him, Packers win.

Looks like Brooks and Van Ness will be out.

I would hope Brinson could fill in for Brooks based on his latest performance. I just think LVN is a notch above the rest of the next men up. Especially this year.

Succinct and accurate assessment in my opinion.

Yesterday was just a walkthrough so this was, at best, just a guesstimate based on previous information.
