By the way, are we all feeling that Mcmanus's problems were health related, and that he's all good now?

There was the injury, plus they were having some problems blocking for kicks, which may have gotten into his head a little bit. But yes, it looks solid now.

As much as I like to annoy my neighborhood and roust some suburban wildlife animals into spontaneously moshing to some insanely loud Lawrence Welk, there's FAR more worthy talent on planet earth for any halftime show. Nevermind the fact that a halftime show arguably has no business in a gladiator spectacle of human physicality. It only exists because some supposed marketing genius decided it would attract more females and casual fans to the sports broadcast and thus drive up the cost per advertisement.

Here's a few insanely good live acts off the top of my head in no particular order:

              Weird Al Yankovic
              Snarky Puppy
              Iron Maiden

And no, I have no expectation of any of these or any similar artists actually performing an NFL halftime show. And I'm old enough to remember when there was NO pop/rock stars performing any halftime show.

And - just to be somewhat thorough, here's what I had to compile somewhat manually that resembles the Thanksgiving list of past performers:

My cousin was part of Up With People who did the halftime shows at one point years ago. Would have been in the mid-80s.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

We should be ok until he misses one. For now we forgot all about it and all is bliss.

Okay, is it on JoeMailman to start the official Bears at Packers discussion thread?

                      Time to look ahead!

It is never on the Postman. He just carries the team like a true MVP for the Jaires of the world.

True enough, but I had the superstitious idea that since he started the last one, and the Packers won, well, y'know . . .
