I have no sense of who will win this game. I just know that the score is going to be 19 - 16.

Denver offense is bottom tier and they lost their number two receiver. I don't know how they have this record. Hafley should be able to shut it down.

It will be interesting to see how much Watson and Reed improve GB against a good defense.

It all comes down to the O line today.
They open a few running lanes and give Love some time, we win.

Expected game conditions at kickoff: Sunny, 63 degrees, light winds.

Wonder if Packer players will be happy to be on the road.

O-line, for sure, and to some extent the D line. I think Denver is going to try to probe the middle of that defense with a lot of running plays. The Carolina template will be put in place today and followed by Chicago next week.

Nice. I feel your trepidation Fritz. I don't like any game sandwiched between Bears games. Its just uncool by the NFL brass. To put us on the road for it is criminal.

That said I'll be really watching to see how our OL holds up against one of the best fronts in the league. It may tell us a lot about our future.

Or if written on a Denver site. Its all about the DL today. If they shut down the run and get pressure on Love.....

Like I said in the Discussion Thread, it won't surprise me if Denver wins, it won't surprise me if GB wins.

                    IMA just go with Love>BNix.

                    Packers win.

I definitely agree that this will be a great opportunity to see how the re-worked offensive line is coming along. I don't know all that much about football and particularly line play, but it seems to me that Rhyan at center is maybe, maybe an upgrade over Jenkins at center. I don't know how he's doing with the calls and adjustments, and I understand he's not a great pass blocker, but he doesn't seem any worse than Jenkins? And we'll see how Belton grows as a blocker and particularly as a pass blocker as he gets more playing time under his belt.

If I recall correctly, you're kind of a fan of Rasheed Walker - kinda sorta anyway - but I think he gets shoved backward an awful lot and gets the pocket collapsing on Love from the left. So I think he's key to today's game - if he can hold up against the rushers coming from his side. Zach Tom seems to be settled back in again as a very good blocker. That's good to see.

I wonder sometimes if coaches build game plans in games like these (AFC opponent) to just a little bit give the offensive line work on what it needs to work on. In other words, call some plays to give the offensive line practice on, say, running the ball in the middle, or pass blocking. Probably they don't have that luxury, I suppose.

But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Not sure that Rhyan is better than Jenkins but getting Rhyan and Morgan out of RG has been a big improvement.

I wonder if that's what Emmanuel Wilson is doing right now, as he is apparently battling some kind of possible stomach virus . . .

Can you imagine puking or shitting your guts out, and the coaches asking you if you think you can go out and get hit by a bunch of 225 lb-plus guys all day long . . . ? I know these guys are well compensated, but that's not an easy gig.

I think we win, and it isn't as close as some people think.

I see this guy they moved up to the 53, Pierre Strong, runs a 4.37 40. With Lloyd fading away, I'd like to see what this guy could do a complement to Jacobs - assuming Jacobs plays.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
