    Official Packers at Bears Discussion Thread

    Packers lead all-time series 109-96-6. 108-96-6 in regular season, 1-1 in playoffs.

    Won't go through all the usual stuff since they just played 2 weeks ago.

    One bit of possible good news:

    Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has avoided a major injury coming out of Sunday's loss in Denver and it remains possible he plays through the injury Saturday against the Chicago Bears, according to reporting from Jacob Westendorf of Packers on SI, Rob Demovsky of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

    Watson went down hard on his left shoulder on an interception by Patrick Surtain II in the third quarter on Sunday. The Packers called it a chest injury, and Watson eventually went to a local Denver hospital for additional precautionary testing.

    Per Demovsky, Watson "does not have a long-term injury" and his game status for Saturday against the Bears will be determined later this week.


    Watson had a CT scan at the hospital. Westendorf reported that Watson has a shoulder injury, and not a chest injury, and the designation was likely due to pain radiating from his shoulder to chest.

    Just posted a thread about Watson.

    The Pack need to curb stomp the Bears. Copper should be blitzing to Caleb's right ever time to contain that little dude in the box.
    Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

      I'd like to see the Packers slide Cooper into Parson's spot. I think he'd be just as athletic and effective, and the way McDuffie has been playing, getting him on the field in Cooper's spot. Barring that, put McDuffie in over Quay, as McDuffie clearly has been the better of the two.
      What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

            Fox Saturday night
            Green Bay at Chicago will be nationally televised. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady with the call.

                      Hafley getting lots of early noise as a HC candidate.

                      I think it’ll depend on these next couple weeks.

                      We went from get after the QB and survive w/ subpar secondary.

                      Can we adjust the scheme to rely more on our current strength (LB imo) and be good enough.

                      And can our Offense help with sustained drives vs chunks to help on ToP.

                      We’ll see!
