**Game Day Preview: Packers at Bears – Wild Card Edition**

Alright PackerRats, it doesn’t get much better than this. January football. Lambeau South. And the road to the Super Bowl runs straight through Chicago.

Yeah, it’s the Bears. Again. And yeah, they’d *love* nothing more than to knock us out. But this Packers team has been playing with house money all year, and somehow they’re still standing here in the Wild Card round with momentum on their side.

Jordan Love has grown up fast, and you can feel the confidence in this offense right now. When he’s decisive and spreading the ball around, this unit can score on anyone — even in Soldier Field weather. The key today is staying patient, protecting the ball, and letting the run game keep the Bears honest.

Defensively, it’s all about discipline. Chicago wants to turn this into a grind, lean on the run, and feed off the crowd. If the Packers can win early downs, force obvious passing situations, and make the Bears play from behind, that crowd gets real quiet, real fast.

Bottom line: It’s playoff football, it’s Packers vs Bears, and history says this is exactly where Green Bay thrives. Expect a tough, physical game — but if the Packers stay composed and finish drives, they’re heading back home with a win and one step closer to something special.

    **Go Pack Go.**

Thanks to ChatGPT for the preview. This Bears team reminds me of the 2010 team. Live and die off turnovers.

Last time Packers faced a similar Bears team they won 21 - 14.

This game will have bears fans yell "if only...." for the next 9 months.

Jacobs is healthy, Love is healthy. This Bears defense can be had and the current Packers defense has held them before.

Bears will be able to scheme up some bigger plays with two game tapes but Packers win 27-20.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I chickened out and did not put $500 on the Mobsters of the Midway. I did, however, put $100 on the Mobsters at +105. Wouldn’t mind losing the bet.

          Bears secondary is a weakness.

If we can shore up run defense and stop stupid play calls (end around or running from shotgun on short yardage) and stay healthy - I think we can win. Keeping Bears to 1 or less turnovers and developing a killer instinct in 2nd half will be the difference we need.

After navigating 20 or 30 "Error 429 too many requests" for the last 10 min I finally got through.

Mad asking for people to post errors on another thread is fucking impossible if you can't even get to the thread to make the post. It's like a tech manager asking you to send him an email if the email server is down.

Anyway, since I'm pretty much fed up with all the errors and trouble reading this site, much less logging in for the last half of this season - I won't be participating during the game on this site today.

I just popped in here to say:

But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I got a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, so I will be watching the game. As I have said, I think our excellent offensive skill players will outweigh the mediocrity of the O Line and D Line and the downright bad DBs.
