  • Vince Lombardi house GB

Have to check for sure but I think it was just after the 2010 SB season we use to go out and drive all around where Lombardi use to live in Green Bay, also visit Lambeau’s gravesite at Allouez Cemetery which was close by and take pictures drooling about all the Packer history - I think I did the tour 3 times and will never forget it.

I swear one Autumn we met the home owner outside his house right down there by the Fox River. And didn’t we talk with the guy and tell him we were doing the full-on Packer Shrine thing with our knees weak remembering Sir Vince Lombardi.
No kidding, he said nicely that he had heard it before from Packer fans, and knew very well that he owned the same house Vince Lombardi did.

But in all my born days, didn’t he tell me after a good chat that the guys at the local bar he knew teased him regularly about taking a SHIT at the very exactly same spot as Vince Lombardi did.

It's an honor . . . I guess? To take a dump in the same place Lombardi did?

    What's the house like? Modest?

It was famous for having a finished basement that he could entertain writers and opponents after the game I believe.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

          Exactly correct.
Lot’s of low hanging ceiling, dense cigarette smoke and golf putting games into empty sticky Old Fashioned glasses.
