The game was pretty much what I expected. Maye had been sacked 5 times in each of the Patriots playoff games. Figured Seahawks pass rush would dominate. Patriots rookie LT Will Campbell, who was the 4th overall pick in the 2025 draft, was really overwhelmed.

Game was a defensive battle eh thats fine. Commercials kind of sucked. Halftime show was not for me. Overall 4.5/10

Halftime show wasn't cringe, IMO. So many times it's been unwatchable. This go around, I didn't understand what was being sung but it was still a fun thing to watch, didn't make me want to turn it off. Which was nice.

I missed halftime, because I was hanging out with my parents, and if i told them about the Super Bowl, they'd make a big dinner and make us stay for the whole thing.

I texted my Colombian former co-worker (and Dolphins fan) if he liked tne show, and he also said he couldn't understand a word of it. He said Puerto Rican Spanish is to him like Brad Pitt in Snatch sounds to me.

I believe in God, family, Baylor University, and the Green Bay Packers.

Yeah, several here beat me to saying it. The Packers and everybody else who thinks they have a good team got a boost of their hopes from that game.

Overwhelmed indeed! Just saw an article reporting that Next Gen Stats graded Campbell to have allowed 14 QB pressures in the game.

There was something on reddit about not only him having short arms, but his wingspan is way below that of a typical person his height, so he has a very narrow upper body in addition to short arms. That is a bad recipe and there has never been a quality tackle with those dimensions supposedly. Just the messenger here I don't know anything else and know basically nothing about the player.

                  Overview
Athletic left tackle prospect who's durable and battle-tested but has elements of high risk, high reward in his game. Campbell is a thumping run blocker who can clear out B-gaps with forceful down blocks and displace base blocks with his “strike and run” technique. He struggles to win laterally, though. He will lunge and miss against stunts and movement. Campbell operates with good athleticism and agility in pass protection but is way too leaky against inside moves. He has a jarring, heavy punch and can latch in to control the rep. However, he has short arms and when he’s beaten to first action, the footwork and technique go out the window, forcing him to scramble and survive to save the pocket. His play is determined, spirited and aggressive, which works in his favor, but Campbell must learn to vary his pass-set technique and operate with optimal hand timing in order to thrive at tackle instead of being moved to guard.

I can't speak to the accuracy of all of this as he wasn't someone I watched at all. I will say that reading that screams guard not tackle. Thumping run blocker, struggles laterally, nice punch. Those are all great attributes for a guard (well, struggle laterally is never a good attribute, but can be hidden at guard).

And they drafted him fourth overall?

                      Oooh.

Rasheed Walker, drafted in the seventh round, coulda played like that guy! And I think he did in a few games!
