Young Samkon Gado's remarks after being traded:

"Green Bay needless to say will always have a special place in my heart, always," Gado said just after learning of the trade. "I did not want to leave. I wanted to stay here as long as I could because I love the community and I love the organization. But obviously this is a business decision that needed to be made."

How do you shit can that guy...Seriously, you can just picture his big beady white eyes filling with tears as he packed his bags....

    OMFG...

I can't stop laughing. I'm sorry. That is fuking priceless. I know the guy loved it here. Hell, he was the metaphoric lonely bright light that shined through the dark clouds that hovered over Lambeau Field all last season but my god...This is too far..Have some fuking spite. You just got traded, ya know. Tell everyone how you're going to rip it up in Houston and how you want to show that you belong. This is just too much for me.

OK.....My stomach is sore...I havn't had a good laugh like that since the first time I shot one in a girls mouth without telling her it was coming...Oh, Samkon, you are priceless.

Who do you think called him to tell him he was traded? Do you think Thompson and McCarthy flipped a coin or arm wrestled?

They probably sat around for like 3 hours, walking in the other room occasionally, starting to dial on the cell phone and then pressing end and walking back to the office like...Ahhhhh You do it...I can't!!

Eventually they probably just had to settle on an email or text message

Even Jagz says the ZBS isn't working - how could Samkon excel then? This trade will haunt TT. Just a hunch and nothing against Morency. What we saw from Samkon last season was not a fluke.

That's pretty creepy, dude. Doesn't show much respect for women.

The guy has always been nothing but class, he showed some here and I don't see what was funny about it. And to satisfy your RAVING curiosity Coach Bennett told him about it. Samkon never says he's gonna tear it up, he says he will do his best and has a lot to learn. Total class. No wonder his love of GB is so mutual. GJ, you could take a lesson from him.

And if you want me to believe that Jags said the ZBS isn't working, I'd like to see the quote because the only thing I've read about it is that the guys are not hitting their back side blocks correctly and as soon as they do we're all gonna be amazed.

As I've said before, I think Samkon is the definition of role-model and I wish him all the best. I would much rather see him succeed somewhere else than see him fail here. I doubt, though, that he will ever have a season like last season where he had, I believe 3, 100 yard games. He is a servicable #2, but not a #1. I wish him the best.

You think Jagz would actually say that? Not in those words, no! He said:"We're targeting the right people, we're just not getting it done on the back side," offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski said of the Packers' run blocking. "Until we get that going, the run game will be stalled."

"Until we get that going, the run game will be stalled." = it ain't working, just watch the games. Stalled = standstill, (mechanical) failure, loss of power etc. You bet the ZBS is stalled!

Read the last lines of that same article.

I was referring to this quote.

"I know everyone is all anxious about it," Jagodzinski said. "I've seen it before and done it before. It's not something I haven't had to go through before. We'll see, once it starts working (everyone will) all go, 'Well, OK.' And so will I."

That wasn't my main point anyway, the main point is that Samkon is a total class act and could give lessons in that respect.

The zone blocking scheme will work once we get acceptable talent to implement it, or when some of the players that are out there develop into capable starters.

Gado is nothing but class; wish him all the best

Geeze...I thought it would be good for a laugh...

If I was traded I'd either A. Tell everyone in Houston I was going to work tirelessly or B. Not say a word because I was pissed. I would never sincerly pour my heart out like that. The funny part of reading it is taht I could picture Samkon saying it. His gentle, expressive personality really touching on the points of pain. It was like I was there listening to him pour his heart out. The guy is torn up that he was traded. Sorry, I thought it a little naive. He really had to throw that part about it being a buisness in there. It was like he needed to convince himself.

Sheesh...Now I feel guilty...I really wasn't enjoying his pain that much. It was just the whole quote, it seemed exaggerated to me, almost comedic.

^ its called heart felt. I wish half the guys in the locker room had the same feeling for GB. I know I would if I had the chance to be there.

I hope he turns into a hall of famer. I love Samkon not just for his play but he is a guy that you wont see on the cover of the paper going 110 MPH down the highway jacking off to a porn loaded up on lsd with 5 hookers in his car...
