          I don't know, they get them cheap and Sherman knows what he's getting so it will probably help their depth. Houston has needs.

            Guys like Bedell amaze me. He is in his SEVENTH year in the NFL. He has played in only 31 games, and 27 of those came in 2000 and 2001. He had 4 starts at Cleveland in 2001, and no other starts. Yet he shows up year after year on someone's roster. He hasn't played on special teams for anyone the last 4 years, and probably is mostly a game day inactive when he is on a roster.

            And even at minimum wage, he has been paid close $1.5 million not including what he earns this year. Not a bad job!

                  In 2005 it was Ken Zuckerman. Not sure if it still is Zuckerman or not.
