I need a toothpick. I've got some crow in my teeth..
Favre has done more than I thought he'd be able to do. Jennings/Driver are a respectable combo, Green and the TE's improved their hands and teh OL had been really good in pass pro.
Favre has the tools around him ot have a good season. I think he could get another probowl like Ziggy said above. He's going to have to prepare hard eveyr week and stay patient and he'll have a shot.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Amen to that, dreadlocks. Let's pass the ganga around (No, not really. I like my brain cells).Originally posted by billy_oliver880Got to get excited about something man.Originally posted by PartialIt was two weeks now. Come on, lets not get ahead of ourselves.
I say Farve for MVP, Pro-Bowl, and Comeback Player of the Year.

I would love if Favre would keep it up, but lets not forget he led the league in touchdown passes for about 5-7 weeks last year:
edit - Surprisngly, Favre's worst part of the season was the first 4 weeks, with an MVP caliber 5-8 weeks, with his final four dropping down to near first four week numbers.
Here's hoping he can keep it up!

His stats weren't great the first four weeks (9 TDs, 8 interceptions), but they weren't near as bad as the last five weeks (1 TD, 9 interceptions). I'm hoping it had a lot to do with the fact the team was 2-9 and out of the playoff race last year. I have higher hopes this year for two reasons: 1) I think Brett is resigned to the fact the Packers might not be that good. He's out there to enjoy himself and help a young team. He probably won't become as distraught about a bad season, 2) I think he's playing much more controlled under McCarthy.Originally posted by PartialI would love if Favre would keep it up, but lets not forget he led the league in touchdown passes for about 5-7 weeks last year:
