The Green Bay Packers have downgraded RB Ahman Green (rib/hamstring) to questionable for Week 4.
    This is according to kffl.com
If Ahman doesn't play, we're going to have to rely on Noah Herron??! I believe ANY chance we had of beating the Eagles has been downgraded as well.

Tough break but I think 80% of the posters here questioned his resigning due to durability issues. If he's hurting already and misses some games, his fumbleitis will continue throughout the season.

Why didn't we go after a feature back or an up-and-comer in FA that's not over the hill

This will force Brett to continue his career record breaking pace for attempts and rely heavily on the TEs and FBs to make short yardage throws work.

      I'm anxious.

It was very risky to trust that Green and/or Davenport would return to form.

Green will probably OK for the season. The problem with Morancy being in their for Monday night might be with his blocking. Probably won't make that much difference for the running game. Packers are going to be passing.

Well that sux, I had Green going this week, expected a good game from him too......
Last week I had Green on the bench(he was questionable till right B4 gametime), and I would have won had I had him in there!!

I guess I'll have to use Maurice Morris... shoot me now!

If I remember, Green was signed for ONE year only right? Due mainly to not knowing how he was going to do after major surgery. I hope he plays, or is ok, but I think the best chance to beat the Igles is through the air.. They are pretty strong against the run, but have given up most of their yards / points through the air..

'course if the Packers have absolutely no running game, the pass rush could be a problem with the young OL..

With their first pick in the 2007 NFL draft, the Packers select: Best RB available??

If no Green, looks like the passing game all evening. Brett's arm might even get sore. Got to hope for Philly turnovers!

what if we don't even use a rb and just throw a couple extra o-linemen in the backfield with brett?

Hit um with the double wing formation. Tape-up Pickett and get him out on one of those wings.

Green was questionable last week, so was Westbrook. Neither looked very hurt. I have a feeling they'll both gut it out. Good thing we did bring back Ahman. He's way better than anybody else we have.

                        MAN this SUCKS

In NY League I have both Ahman Green and Morency and no idea who to start.

Will probably go with Green since Morency won't do much even if he does play. Then I'll just pray
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I think Morissey can fill in for Green just fine

                              I'm sorry, I meant Morrison.
