  • Fox Sports Favre Analogy...

"Meanwhile, Favre, who has enjoyed many memorable moments on the national stage throughout his 16-year career, would like to forget this one. Favre misfired badly on several passes, including two interceptions that led to Philadelphia scores."

Apparenlty they didn't watch the game. On 1 interception, Morency should have caugh the ball, it hit him in the worst spot, his hands. On the second INT, Favre saw his TE deep wide open. What he didn't see was the safety off to his right. If he would have thrown a deep ball instead of a rocket it would have been a TD. It wasn't a mis-fire, is was a mis-read. Outside of that, he didn't misfire badly on hardly any passes. McNabb was the one throwing the ball in the dirt...

The deep one was a late throw. THe wideout entered the seem, was WIDE OPEN and Favre was late and let the safety back into the play.

THe drop by Morency I could see as on him, EXCEPT that Favre has done that too way too many players. Rifling the ball when the guy is only about five yeards from him. Its called TOUCH and Favre had NONE last night.
