I was at that game. Monday Night Football. That was the Slowik defense. They actually moved the ball up and down against us, but kept self-destructing. Najeh was strong that night. I remember the weather not being ideal.

      Rams 45

      Packers 17

The defense has not convinced me they are capable of stopping anybody.

With Driver either being out or not a full strength, the Packers are hurting at WR.

Wasnt that the score last time they played?

Don't be fooled by the won-loss records of the 2 teams. The 3 teams the Packers have lost to are a combined 11-1. The 3 teams the Rams have beaten are a combined 3-8. My hunch is that the Packers play a very good game and get their first win 27-20.

We weren't supposed to beat the Eagles in Philly.

We played 3 Qs with a good team and lost.

Look for the Pack to rebound with a nice home win

"Win one for Ahmad Carroll" doesn't quite have the same ring as "Win one for the Gipper", but I still like the Pack in this one. Rams are not a good team this year.

It's a different D than last week, we'll have to see what happens. Which of the kids is playing nickel? Dendy?

the rams don't have that high powered offence this year that could easily burn us bad, new coaches new system

of course, knowing our luck, that will all change today

Not that there's ever a good time for such a change, but this is a tough week for the Packers to break in a new nickel defensive back, probably Patrick Dendy, after cutting Ahmad Carroll. The Rams have one of the best receiver pairs in the NFL with Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt, who though they are 33 and 30, respectively, remain quality players with big-play talent. Defensive coordinator Bob Sanders will do everything he can to keep starting cornerbacks Charles Woodson and Al Harris matched against them, but Rams coach Scott Linehan will do everything he can to get Bruce or Harris matched with Dendy whenever possible.

Plus, the Rams' No. 3 receiver, Kevin Curtis, is a speedster who could burn Dendy for a big play or two if the second-year pro isn't ready for his prime-time assignment. The Packers' secondary has been giving up big plays all year, and the Rams have the receivers to torch it a fifth straight week if Sanders can't shore up the communications, techniques and assignments in the secondary.
