Yes, they really solidified with Sean Payton and Drew Breese.

I thought Sean Payton was overrated.

Brad Childress is doing a good job too.

The record doesn't show it, but Kubiak/Sherman are getting solid play out of David Carr.

Linehan and Haslett are doing a good job in St. Louis.

As is Dick Jauron in Buffalo.

All the records don't bear this out, but I see improvement all around.

Agreed, people don't seem to notice but the Texans are scoring quite a bit. Mario only has 2-3 sacks but he is a rookie.

I think Marv Levy is doing good work as GM in Buffalo.

The biggest "goose egg" so far with rookie coaches is Marinelli in Detroit. Nothing. Although Roy Williams is leading the league in receiving yards behind Andre Johnson for the Texans.

Vernand Morency looks like a great change of pace for Ahman Green. He'll be a real key the rest of the season if the fumbling problems don't return.

Nick Barnett had a very good first half. He has been much more aggressive this year, which I suspect has a lot do do with Winston Moss.

the "change of pace" back is exactly what Jagodzinsk and McCarthy were looking for in the zone blocking scheme brought in from Atlanta.

Warrick Dunn and a power back. Speed and power. Like a change up pitcher.

I like Marv, he's a good commentator too. I think Martz needs to simplify their offense and it don't help that Rogers got nailed for banned substances. Lions got some talent but need to start out simple for now.
