  • lack of retirement talk refreshing

I am very glad every story in the news isn't how Brett wasnts to retire now. Seeing as we're at the halfway point of the season and I have seen nothing to laed me to believe he is retiring, I think he'll be back.

Brett has been putting up some decent numbers, and the packers have been playing competitive football since week one. The naysayers have been quiet, but all it takes is one bad game and they'll be back.

Give Favre some credit here. He has (finally) refused to be drawn in to the whole "is this your last season" thing in the interviews I've seen. I wish he'd clued into this earlier (like in 2003), but he's been giving the press a good stiff arm regarding retirement questions.

You know, he's also making some better throwing decisions. Maybe M3 was the answer to all our problems.

I was thinking of retiring this year (or getting fired). Does that count?

Watching the game on Sunday - Favre was having fun. Picking up Driver and giving him the old wrestlin' helicopter move - I said to my wife, "There's no way he's retiring this year, he's having too much fun."

Heres' to hoping the "fun" continues!

Depends...are you planning on doing it in grand style?

i find it hard to think that brett would play through this rebuilding stage the last two years, only to retire when all the young players are just starting to click
