I personally love this kid...he's a 19 year old 4 year starting senior. 19 years old...as a rookie he's going to be 20 years old..that's awesome. I think he's got a huge upside, and a high motor."I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. The problem is getting him to put down his beer and come out of the stands and do those things." - Danny Murraugh

if you saw the kid, you'd think he's bigger than 280-290 if that is the case. He's extremely fast for a DT, and continuously pushed the pocket backwards the past 2 years...this is a kid who started at a D-1 school at the age of 16....there are 16 year old kids not ready to start at a D-1 HIGH SCHOOL program."I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. I hate making assumptions on rookies...but, I think if you give the kid some time, he could definately come around to be something special. The big thing for us, we have a TON of DT's...do we permanittly move Jenkins to DE? then what do we do with KGB? lots of question with almost anyone we draft...depth is great...but money could become interesting on that DL."I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. If the selection is made with due diligence on the part of the scouts, I'd love to see a defensive pick like Okoye in the first round.
A great defense and a good offense can win a Super Bowl[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

I wouldn't be opposed to making Jenkins the permanent starter on RDE. It will most likely happen. KGB will probably be a role player. If he's the best available go for him, but I think a playmaker on offense is more important.Originally posted by ND72I hate making assumptions on rookies...but, I think if you give the kid some time, he could definately come around to be something special. i think you might have answered your own question. the kid could be special in time. the good news for us as you mentioned is we have a lot of depth at DT. he wouldn't be thrust into action right away if he's not ready.Originally posted by ND72I hate making assumptions on rookies...but, I think if you give the kid some time, he could definately come around to be something special. and we could always move one of the other DT's, like cole, allen, or williams and pick up another mid round pick
this kid sounds to be like he could be a DE at the next level. he dropped that weight for the senior bowl for i reason i think. he might want switch, or show teams he could go either way. a 305 pound DT doesn't make me drool as much as a 290 pound DE
and if you do draft him to be a DE, then IMo you keep jenkins as the other starter at DT along with pickett, and still try and move one of the other dt's
for me, we have greater needs and right now, d-line isn't top priority with jenkins looking good at Re last year. with jenkins and kampman at DE pickett as one dt and the huge rotation for the other DT. and KGB coming in on passing downs. i think we look pretty solid on the d-line

No, they aren't related,Originally posted by FritzCool name. Any relation to Christian?
He's real fast, but like most LVille lineman, he's not as big as advertised.
Petrino likes 'em super fast. I didn't think Dumerville would make it, but he did all right for Denver.
I'd say this kid would be worth a flyer.
A first? I dunno.

NFLDraftCountdown and GBNReport have him going at #9 and #12 respectively, so the Packers may not have a shot at him. Although DT is seen as a position of strength on the Packers, I don't think you pass up a player of his talent if you have a shot at him at #16.I can't run no more
