Most likely it's because people saw that the Packers are a team on the rise. Last year many analysts thought we were a bottom five team. This year a lot of them think we can be playoff contenders.

Maybe if he had some weapons that other QB's have, it would pad his stats so that idiot commentators have something else to judge him by.
