    Ahmad Carroll had great physical tools... but, was raw as a player. It was clearly going to take him time to develop. No way do you take a guy like that in the 1st round.

    Most predraft sites and publications had him in the 3rd round - which is where I saw him going.

    I'll still give it a try to find the article that talked about Dorsey's sell job on Sherman to pick Carroll... as I said, pretty sure it was a McGinn article.

    Went back and looked at the JS site for April and May of 2004... interesting to go back and look at what everyone had to say back then. I hated that draft then, and hate it now... BJ Sander was the last straw for me - I started calling for Sherman's head after that moronic pick.
