No way we need to draft a DT.

No way do we draft a DT in first round. More likely a RB, WR or Safety/DB

He will draft BPA. He always does.

BPA is the biggest BS in the NFL. Most teams draft for need.

We needed Rodgers at the time?

I agree with Ziggy. He'll go BPA.

We're fairly solid at DT... however, none of them are special.

Teams don't have to "account" for anyone... if there were a DT that could consistently disrupt the pocket, eat up blockers, and showed good movement skills - you have to take a guy like that, if he's available to you.

That said, I know nothing about Tyler... not making a comment on him - just a general observation.

I know that that would make an average team produce 4 first round linemen in two years, including the top overall pick last year. No way do I want him.

i don't think this guy would be BPA, and we sure as hell don't need another dt

i don't see why we would do this

Don't want Tyler, he would be a luxury pick, if this scenario unfolded, I'd rather trade down a couple of spots and take Miller at TE.

I don't know anything about the guy, but you can't just dismiss a position b/c you already have talent there - unless you had all-pro talent across the board at a given position - but who has that???

What if Tommie Harris, or Kevin Williams, or Shaun Rogers were available??? Any one of those guys would immediately take the Packers defensive front from being just ok, to being pretty damn tough.

That said, of course the Packers have a multitude of other needs, and they have to give those positions serious consideration b/4 looking at DT.

a lot if not all of the mocks i've seen don't even have him going in the first

remember, the guy that did that mock HATES the packers, and wants nothing more then to see him fail

i bet he would love it if the pack reaches to take a guy they don't need with their first pick

i don't think theres is no way we draft this guy. he made that pick to piss off packer fans

i do agree with you somewhat wist. we have some talent on the line, and if a sure fire great prospect comes a long jump on it. the only one i would do that with is the 19 year old from louisville, okoye. if he dropped into our lap, i wouldn't mind. the rest of the d-linemen don't excite me that much
