Nothing really new to post. He just mentioned that Briggs's contract will be used as a measuring stick for the Barnett contract. One other thing he mentioned that caught my eye was that he has heard that CJ has been timed at 4.33 in the 40 very recently. He is the best player in this draft in my very humble opinion. It will be interesting to see what his final numbers are because I saw on one site that CJ has over a 45" vertical jump.

As someone wrote a few weeks ago, this is the year the Lions should draft a WR on the 1st round, but they probably won't.I can't run no more

Why does it matter what Briggs get for Barnett?
I'm guessing Briggs will be overpaid by someone thus forcing the Packers to overpay for Barnett....Briggs and Barnett are NOT on the same level. If you don't like me....bite me...
....want some, come get some!

With his personality and production, he should go first and if he indeed runs a 4.3/40 and jumps over 42", he'd better not get past the Lions.Pass Jessica's Law and keep the predators behind bars for 25 years minimum. Vote out liberal, SP judges. Enforce all immigrant laws!

just remember, that 4.33 only counts if he does it at the combine, otherwise people won't say it countsOriginally posted by PartialLike I said in another thread, if he clock sub 4.4 he'll probably go #1.
hawk also ran a 4.3 something at one point before the draft. the 4.5 or whatever he ran was the only anyone cared about

Whether CJ runs a 4.3 or 4.4, he's the best player in the draft, in my humble opinion. I was the person who said this is the year the Lions should take a receiver but I don't think Millen has the cojones to do it.
Unfortunately, CJ is out of the Pack's reach, unless he gets hurt or arrested. It'd take pretty much the Pack's whole draft to move up into the top four. And if you did that, then what if CJ got hurt? You'd have a year without a single rookie having bee added to your team. Ouch."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Hawk ran ~4.5 at his campus workout and ~4.6 at the combine. I get your point, but saying he ran 4.33 is a major stretch.Originally posted by redjust remember, that 4.33 only counts if he does it at the combine, otherwise people won't say it countsOriginally posted by PartialLike I said in another thread, if he clock sub 4.4 he'll probably go #1.

If you're talking draft picks, it would take all of the rest of the Packers picks, according to the NFL Draft Value Chart.Originally posted by Brando19I wonder what it would take for the Pack to trade up to say...Tampa Bay's spot to get CJ?I can't run no more
