Everyone seemed to lose interest after the season started. Seems the real games are kind of a distraction, but if anyone's interested in finding out what would have happened now that the offseason is here, I'm a little curious about it myself.

What are the Dragons? I'm guessing that it's a created team on madden, am I correct?

The Dragons were invented last offseason. They are the New Mexico Dragons, an expansion franchise. There is a detailed explanation somewhere near the beginning of the following thread

The Dragons, with 4 games left in the regular season were 8-4. In a weak NFC, winning half of their remaining games would get them into the playoffs. They lost their first two, but made a surprising recovery and made it into the playoffs, on a 10-6 record.

In the Wild Card the Dragons easily disposed of the Redskins, 28-3.

In the divisional playoffs the Dragons squeaked out a 2OT win over the St. Louis Rams.

The championship game was a blowout over the Cowboys. 42-10.

In the Super Bowl it was the Dragons against the Denver Broncos. Even though it was a close game, it had the same result of 10 years ago. Dragons 20, Broncos 27.

And you know who was Super Bowl MVP? Broncos QB, Brett Favre.

Have you got a link to the page? I can't see why we'd have the Pack and Denver trading anything. We were supposed to do an expansion draft and the rest of the league stayed as is...I'm confused.

I wasn't able to do an expansion draft, and a fantasy draft would of kinda defeated the purpose. It took me a while, but I was able to jiggle around the rosters so you guys got the team you wanted, with minimum affect on the rest of the league.

Remember, this game doesn't have any name recognition. Brett Favre is no more valuable than Chad Pennington. The game deals with stats and ratings, not names.

Just found another potential reason which I didn't see before.

In training camp, Aaron Rodgers beat out Brett Favre.

As I said, this game really doesn't make any sense.

Actually, Aaron Rodgers had 20 TD passes to only 15 INT. Not bad.
