I knew about the punter but anyone know more about the cornerback?

Thompson adds five street free agents

    Press-Gazette

The Green Bay Packers have signed five street free agents, including one of their former practice squad players and another player who spent part of training camp with them last season, General Manager Ted Thompson announced Monday.

Linebacker Tim Goodwell spent 5½ weeks on the practice squad last season. A 6-foot, 237-pounder, he was released in the final cut at the end of camp. He was re-signed to the practice squad on Sept. 26 and released on Nov. 2.

Cornerback Antonio Malone, a 6-0, 188-pounder, spent the last two weeks of training camp with the Packers last season.

    The others:

Punter David Lonie, a 6-5, 210-pounder from Australia who was released by Washington during training camp last season.

Linebacker Marcus Randall, a 6-1, 232-pounder, who was released by Tennessee at the end of training camp last season. He spent most of the 2005 season on the Titans' practice squad. He played quarterback at LSU, was converted to safety by the Titans as a rookie, then to linebacker last season.

Defensive tackle Devarick Scandrett, a 6-4, 322-pounder who played in two preseason games for Houston last season before being released by the Texans.

    Street Free Agents.

You're not supposed to know who they are.

    Mostly they're camp fodder.
