Yea, once I looked at it a little closer I'll admit it looks alittle high....but put it in context. You have 30 millions and you give this guy 8 this year and spread out the rest over 4 more it really isn't that big of a deal.

Yeah I totally agree you guys have the cap room, but that doesn't mean you unload a good chunk of it to some dude that hasn't done anything..Not saying it's a bad signing either, just a grossly high contract for an unproven.

Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe's new contract pays $18.2 million over five years. It includes $7 million in guarantees.

Insanity. He has 35 total receptions in four seasons and has averaged 7.2 yards-per-catch. Coach Brad Childress must see something that we and the NFC East haven't. He'll clearly be Minnesota's starter in 2007.

After a rough first year the dudes been outstanding. I thought it was a mistake last year but he gets some nice mismatches.
