  • Everybody chill out

I like the youth movement in Green Bay. Ahman Green was a nice player but he wanted to much money for a RB on the wrong side of 30.
here is a quote from a JS article that I agree with 100%:

"Instead of focusing on what the Packers view as a weak free-agent crop, they are preparing themselves for the second phase of free agency, when players who were left out of the bonus round begin adjusting their demands. The Packers also are interested in cleaning up after those teams who choose to cut high-priced veterans for financial reasons."
To much of a good thing is an awesome thing

I wanted Green back. But what's done is done. What matters now is how TT fixes the RB situation.

        the reality of it is...

Green gets 1000 + yards next year we curse T.T. and say how it was the worse decision...

Green gets less than 1000 yards and doesn't play half of the games... We praise T.T. and say how he is a genius...

        Time will only tell...

I posted in another thread on this subject and I will post it here Green wasn't even able to practice regularly last season and he had a nice recovery but lets face it hes on the wrong side of thirty and had a significant leg injury he will mis time this year playing and for the money he wants thats unnacceptable. Period

IDK but not being able to practice regularly and coming off with about 1300 total yards sounds decent to me

Soon. a new young RB will be looking good for the team, and Ahman's name will seldom come up.

Who cares if Green rushed for the rushing title next year?

If the Packers make the playoffs, or even the Super Bowl, he could break every rushing record there is and it won't make a bit a differ to me or any other Packer fan for that matter.....we just want to win.

Lol the first part was sarcasm but yes green was one of my favorite Packers. Yea i mean if we have a great season next year then i wont care about Green. But u basically said what i had been trying to say with the moss case. We get moss and he goes back to his studdly self and we win

If he stays healthy, he will get 1000 yards just because.

I wonder if Houston will be good for his asthma...warmer and dryer than GB. Anyone have ideas on that?
