    FINS SAYING FAREWELL TO McMICHAEL

A league source tells us that the Miami Dolphins will soon be releasing tight end Randy McMichael.

McMichael, who recently emerged on the trade block, was due to earn a $3 million roster bonus on Wednesday. In lieu of paying the money, the team is cutting him loose.

The veteran tight end should draw immediate interest in a relatively weak field of free-agent tight ends. But the red flag is his history of allegations of violence against his wife.

Then again, in today's NFL, that's like getting pulled over for having an expired inspection sticker, isn't it?

I'd like to see Green Bay jump on him if he's released. He's seems like a Deep threat TE. He'd be a major upgrade at the TE position for us. Guess they don't want to pay the bonus money and the character issues.

And they signed David Martin to replace him.

They also were trying to trade him for a second round pick or a 3rd but no takers.

So he whacked his wife around a little so did Ahman allegedly! Can't be any worse than what we have plus the draft is weak at TE, what is happening with Eric Johnson anyone know?

If TT doesn't make a move on him, I'll have to seriously wonder what he is thinking. The rookie TE crop is weak and FA isnt much better. We need a pass catching TE to compliment Bubba. Seems like a perfect fit. Come on man!!!!

TT better make a beeline for this guy.

He's a good tight end. Definitely better than David (mr. injury list) Martin.
