I have to say, with $10 mil on the table and records still to achieve, he'd be stupid not to come back, even if the current Packer talent level is shaky. To me, this is a no-brainer for him. He was just trying to make a dramatic entrance. Push it off until the draft. This will be the headline throughout the next couple of days and will be thrown about by all of the progs and sports talking heads.
Either way, this is good news. Gotta wonder what took him so long. Or why he decided to make the announcement now. Almost nothing at his level is unplanned.
I just hope he actually HAS been working with a trainer (and not just working on his John Deere).
