I don't see our DC running a base on third down. I would like to see more of the 3-3-5 nickel. That to me is the defense to blitz out of. We ran it for a short time last season with great success. You can run a pseudo 3-4 from that with a LB and safety blitzing and still have 6 guys in coverage.
If they went with something like that it would be to their benefit to mix it up with multiple fronts and coverages and have all 4 DBs do some blitzing (all four are actually pretty good at it imo)
