  • I'll be happy if we get...

    in no particlular order.

    Laron Landry
    Amobi Okoye
    Paul Posluszny
    Eric Weddle
    Drew Stanton
    Michael Bush
    Garrett Wolfe

If we even get three of those players I will be very happy.

It would be a longshot if they got more than one, so you should lower your expectations.

None of the above players will wear the Green and Gold.

Are you going to be whining together on draft day again ? I'd like to see that group as well. I just might add John Stocco in round 7 just so I can see a Badger

I'm on board with Lynch too if he passed TT's character evaluation.

I notice you left Ginn off
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Biggest need being RB (I'd prefer a back with some size, 220+ lbs):

                  1st round
Lynch - I'm coming around to him... not the brightest guy. His maturity scares me - if he matures, he has a chance to be a good back.

                  3rd round
Bush - all depends on the leg. Wouldn't surprise me if he dropped quite a bit... also wouldn't surprise me if he went in the 2nd round. Some teams might have removed him from their boards altogether, while others have recommendations from their team doctors that he's healed and healthy - they may draft him high on that premise.

                  3rd thru 5th round
                  Dwayne Wright
                  Brian Leonard
                  Tony Hunt
                  Chris Henry
                  Kolby Smith

I don't have change of pace backs on the list b/c I consider Morency a change of pace back. If the Packers think he can carry the load (I don't) and they're looking for a slasher/3rd down back:

                  2nd round
                  Antonio Pittman

                  3rd/4th round
Brandon Jackson (may be an every down back)
                  Lorenzo Booker
                  Kenny Irons
                  Garrett Wolfe (don't think)

There's a lot of good depth at RB this year... hopefully the Packers will mine some good talent at the RB position out of this draft.

As has been discussed in a couple of other threads, I don't think it makes any sense to go LB in the 1st round... BPA or not, using a 1st round pick on a 2 down player can't happen if the Packers expect to make another leap forward.

That takes Willis, Beason, and Timmons off the board.

Branch will be gone; the Packers have capable players, and big $$$ invested in their DE's - that takes Anderson off the board; and, Quinn will be gone.

Of your list, that leaves Reavis and Lynch.

The Packers are likely to take a corner w/in the 1st three rounds, and there's some depth at the position... if Lynch is there, he'll likely be the pick.

WR is somewhat deep this year. May find a gem in round 2.

If we nab lynch who knows. As for the lists there are several players out there that could help our roster. I want to see a boost to our offense and someone else besides underwood to compete with manuel for that starting job (although is underwood stays healthy I don't think there is any doubt he is the starter).

That's not a given, but I hope he is.

Thompson should take the best player available at RB, WR, TE, CB, S, and possibly DL (never can have enough) and OL (have to look for a replacement for Tausch and Cliffy soon; luckily, there doesn't appear to be another guy after Thomas and Brown who is deserving of the #16 pick) in round 1. Gives him a lot of options not to reach.
