The Packers having a shot at Quinn is a big deal and could open up a lot of opportunities for us. Kansas City could use a QB of the future as well as Baltimore and Philadelphia. Who's to say we haven't already traded Rodgers to the Raiders even though that appears to be a stupid move by the Raiders? Who's to say we haven't worked something out with KC?

Thinking I was ever on the hype bandwagon is a huge mistake, I'm a pretty cynical person. There can be a good WR had in the 2nd, I agree, but for you to say after 15 picks there will not be one worthy first rounder besides Quinn is just ignorance.Originally posted by MerlinWe don't need a WR in the first round, there are better WR in the later rounds. There is NO DB or WR in this draft worth a first round pick. Time to get off the hype bandwagon.Originally posted by TennesseePackerBackerYou must be joking, Meachem is a 6'2" reciever who can run a 4.4 forty has a good vertical and soft hands, Revis is in the mold of an Al Harris, but faster, and gives us a great return man. That's not even saying anything about Carriker, Branch, Hall, Olsen, the list goes on."I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." - Vince Lombardi

You must have money to burn my friend. Ignorance is pretending that anyone left besides Quinn is worthy of a contract that large. It's nice to know you have all that cash lying around for mediocrity.Originally posted by TennesseePackerBackerThinking I was ever on the hype bandwagon is a huge mistake, I'm a pretty cynical person. Assuming Rothlesberger is the real deal (which I have serious doubts), the Steelers wouldn't hurt themselves by taking Quinn, neither would the Jets."Once the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.”
