I've been watching the feed from the draft room. TT isn't there. He sends some guy in every once in awhile to inform the room what he is doing.Originally posted by BallHawkI wonder what TT is like in the draft room? What I would pay to be a fly on the wall....Originally posted by GregJenningsYeah..He must have felt there was a little drop and that a bunch of the guys were all the same. I did think it was strange though. Taht was a big drop. He couldnt' have had 20 guys all rated equally but you never know I guess.Originally posted by RastakI'm a bit surprised TT moved back so far in the second round,,,,anyone else feel the same?

Who was the Packers scout from Tennessee? Was that REggie McKenzie?
He was the guy Thompson credited with the Harrell rating. He said that he had a lot of trusted contacts at Tennessee and they really endorsed Harrell. It sounded like it was a close eough relationship where the Tennessee guys wouldn't have just hyped up their guy. I don't know the exact details though. I would like to hear more on that.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Fins take...
Samson Satele
OC | (6'2", 300, 5.24) | HAWAII
Scouts Grade: 77 Selected by: Miami Dolphins
Round: 2
Pick (Overall): 28(60)
Strengths: An experienced offensive lineman with some versatility. He has spent time at tackle, guard and center during his collegiate career. At his best in pass pro. Plays with very good balance and leverage. Shows excellent awareness and is consistently effective picking up blitzes and stunts. Displays good quickness in the short-area. Is feisty and plays with a mean streak. He shows some upper body power. Is a natural knee-bender with a quick set in pass pro. Can mirror-and-slide effectively in pass pro.
Weaknesses: Is thickly built but not massive. Height is adequate but not good. He's squatty with shorter than ideal arms. Weight can fluctuate too much and he needs to do a better job of keeping healthy weight on his body. He comes from a pass-happy spread offensive attack at Hawaii and will need to make a significant transition to a pro-style scheme in the NFL. He is quicker than fast. Lacks ideal speed working as a downfield blocker. He lacks an ideal base and will have some trouble generating a surge versus massive two-gap defensive linemen.
Overall: Satale was redshirted in 2002. In 2003, he started all 14 games for the Warriors, opening the season at left tackle and then playing left guard for the final 13 contests. Satale again started every game (13) in 2004, playing both left guard (10 games) and center (3 games). With 12 more starts as a junior in 2005, Satele increased his consecutive starts tally to 39. He surrendered just two sacks in 578 passing attempts in 2005, when he earned first team All-WAC honors. In 2006 Satele started all 14 games at center, ending his career with 53 consecutive starts, and earned his second straight first team All-WAC selection.
Satele is a squatty center prospect with good short-area quickness. He has a strong lower body for his size and he has great experience and awareness in pass pro. While thickly built, Satele does not possess massive size to engulf bigger two-gap NT's in the NFL. He comes from a pass-heavy offense in college, which could set him back when transitioning to a more balanced, pro-style scheme in the NFL. He also lacks ideal mobility and experience as a run blocker. In our opinion, Satele is a bit of a project but he has enough upside to warrant consideration late on Day 1.

TT definitely seemed to cherish the guy; he noted he had offers to trade down but he was concerned it was too far to get him. He probably had him tier'd higher than the other picks out there.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
