Just returned from a few days in the city, it's pretty cool, there are NFL Draft banners all over the place, wish I could have stayed.

Yes, they would have; my poor wife had to listen to me pleading with teams to pick Rodgers for well over an hour and then cuss the day out after GB did.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. I was in NYC the day of the draft, 1997, actually saw Orlando Pace walk in as we were bussing past Madison Square Guarden. That's the last draft (1997) I've ever missed."I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. The problem is getting him to put down his beer and come out of the stands and do those things." - Danny Murraugh

Good time"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
