Best Guess: Moss Deal Failed On Two Year Contract

The State Journal, Wilde, has the Packers offering a fifth for Moss on a one year contract. But it also says that the Packers preference was to sign Moss for two years.

PFT has reconfirmed its original report that the Packers originally offered a fourth.

Seems logical that the fourth was offered if T2 could get a two year deal. When he couldn't, it may have become a fifth rounder.

This would fit all available facts. Personally, I am still glad he isn't here. But I am amazed at the low, low price.
