Who is going to trade for a backup OT who is coming off a serious injury? I think he's better off waiting for Barry to come back and prove he's healthy. He might be able to get a late draft pick--if that is the case.
Sherman - so he can run the U71 package in Houston.
Seriously though, I read reports that the Packers might be trying to move him, I just figured it might be during the draft.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with some players that have been on the roster for awhile, namely Fergie, Coston and Barry. With the new blood and youth movement - Fergie and Barry should be worried. I honestly think Barry is gone, he doesn't fit the system and has had weight issues, something the staff was on him about last year (well, at least Jagz was). Coston's entering his third year. He better show something now or one of the younger guys is going to take his spot.
Here here, Pittstang. I'm just a'waitin' for "Orange" Junius Coston to bust out. It's now or never, kid.
I do know he was very young when the Pack drafted him. so I am holding out hope. But we'll see soon enough. I'm rooting for the guy.
"The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."
Fergie is all but gone--and we could have had Chris Chalmers in his place...
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
