    Last 40 years:

    1.Brett Favre

    2.Reggie White

James Lofton or Sterling Sharpe or Donald Driver. 3.James Lofton gets my nod. He was outstanding as a Packer.

DD is right there also with outstanding results the last 3 seasons

    I need a RB and it's easy.

    4. Ahman Green One more season with us and he would have likely set the all time record rushing for the Packers.

          Brett Favre

            but... that means no Favre

Been around a long time, little buddy.
            Seen a LOT of Packers.
These, for me, were the best.
If you didn't notice, he didn't even pick Favre the first time around when it was current players.

              For me :
              Favre (most obvious choice)
              Driver (hardworker, very humble)
Harris (maybe its the dreads, but I love the guy)
Hawk (hes a packer person )

Alternative : Woodson (To keep the deadly cb tandem)
Fountanin of youth for favorite Packers? Wow opens lots of opinions!

              ALL time?

Favre (over Starr) accomplished more with less than any QB in all of football!

Hutson (over eveyone else) Revolutionized the wide receiver position..
Lofton , Very good, Sharpe very good, Driver a real "team" player,
Ron Kramer set new standards for a tight end, Coffman a close
              second..

Nitshke - can probably play in any decade.. Wants to kick anyones ass that
carry's the ball, and will lead by example..

              Jurko / Gilbert
Truely dedicated to the Packers and accomplished a great deal with
sometime's sub par talent around them but fullt committed to the
              Packers..
My Two favorite teams are the Packers, and whoever plays the Vikings!

                Hi, Brando19 :
                Yes, I would.
Unquestionably, Favre's physical talents would run rings around Bart's.
And I realize that for more of his career, Starr was surrounded by better talent.
                However, Starr -for me - was always the quarterback who 'got the job done';
                the ultimate field general.
The most vivid example was Starr's performance in what I consider the greatest, gutsiest drive in football history - that last drive down the field in the Ice Bowl. His calm, methodical performance under the most adverse of conditions imaginable defined the man for all time.

Favre is/was a great player, of course. But to me, Favre has never quite lived up to the pinnacle his physical prowess promised.
The field-generalship aspect - again, in strictly my own opinion - has held him back (perhaps best illustated by his "I won't change" attitude after his declining skills were resulting in un-Favre-like performances).
For me, he was a large part of the Super Bowl loss against the Broncos, as well as the infamous Philly game, where a stronger performance still could have overcome Sherman's blunders.
Those games should have been won.

I know a lot of younger fans will spend a long, long time awaiting the 'next Favre'.
Old guy me still awaits the 'next Starr'.
                Who Knows? The Shadow knows!

Hutson was the best player to ever wear the green and gold. Reggie was probably second with a toss up for third between Brett,Adderly,Gregg, and #66.

I can't disagree about Eller. That guy was one hell of a pass rusher. Although Yary is in the HOF too (I'm pretty sure) and was a rock.
