  • OK...Offensive Lineman Drafted since Wolf

Someone mentioned Wolf decided to look more towards protection in the draft than Defensive Line, so I thought we'd take a look at this as well. Sorry if this is a bit of an overkill...but I think it's all interesting to see how we were built at times. Plus...I'm a OL/DL guy, I feel they are the most important parts of the team.

    1998 - Mike Wahle?

He dressed in one game for us that season.

How did we get him in 1998?

Yup, second round of the 1998 Supplemental draft, so Wahle cost the Packer's their 2nd round pick in the 1999 draft.

They'd have to tie TT us in his chambers to get him to give up a draft pick over a supplemental player coming out; if not he'd come out and have his lowball hat on
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Man, even subconsciously you can't let that pick go.

Didn't we draft Joe Andruzzi in '97, or was he a free agent signing?

I thought he was a FA, but not 100% sure; he was a gamer. Good guy in the sport

Andruzzi was signed as an Undrafted Free Agent.

I'm not sure TT even realizes that there is a supplemental draft... and, I'm fairly sure that Andruzzi was a FA. I was higher on him than some of the players they ended up keeping when they cut Andruzzi. Of course, he went on to become a starter for the Pats (I think it was the Pats).

As for the Packers and OL... they've always done a good job of scouting, drafting, and developing OL. Michaels and Manderich being the only glaring misses.

Wofl did very well drafting offensive linemen, with some exceptions. But he hit on an awful lot. Weird that Shermy only hit on Wells in three drafts. But he didn't draft many offensive linemen.

In his three drafts TT has drafted more offensive lineman. I hope that most of them, too, work out.
