  • Mel keeps avoiding Cory Rodgers
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

    • Hey, Nutz my wife said the same thing: who is THAT?

But it looks like TT has gotten his punt returner. If he's on anything like Allen Rossum, Mike Stock is getting a hard-on right now.

        • anyone else surprised we haven't drafted any guards yet? Sounds like Spitz in going to be C. I'm a little worried about this.

            Great, a small, slow reciever.

              • ok, i'm starting to wonder why we have taken two wr's who are 6'0" or less when mccarthy and tt are constantly preaching the need for taller receivers as the wco standard? unless both picks are mainly for the return game i don't see the sense in it when you still have a ton of big receivers left on the board....

Rogers is probably the best KR in college football. I had the distinct displeasure of being in Houston on January 1st and watching him shred our coverage team. Just like the scouting report says, explosive and has the potential to take it the distance EVERY time he touches.

He played for a very good TCU team who would have made a BCS bowl if they hadn't blown one game they should have won easily against SMU.
Thank you Cyclone. I value the perspective of someone who has actually watched the guy play. And who knows, Nutz, if we could've gotten him later.

I thought we had our special teams expert in Jennings, who also was a great returner ?

                        By Cliff Christl
                        The last Alaskan Packer

Offensive lineman Daryn Colledge will be, in all likelihood, the second player from Alaska to play for the Packers since at least 1970. The Packers drafted Colledge, a native of North Pole, Alaska, in the second round Saturday.

The last Alaskan to have played for the Packers was Tom Neville. A guard, he played from 1986-'88.

Neville was killed in 1998 after escaping from a psychiatric hospital. He was shot by Fresno police. Neville, who stood 6-foot-5 and weighed 356 pounds at the time, was the victim of 13 gunshot wounds.

                        • Both Jennings and Rodgers are destined for ST-They'll share returning. TT has said as much about Jennings.

                            • Watson goes to Arizona. They like their Michigan guys.

Scott, Colledge is going to play guard, whether he realizes it or not. Spitz is more a center, but that means Wells will either have competition for his job, or that Wells is projecting at guard right now for the Packers.

                              • McCarthy said there aren't many big receivers in this draft & they like guys who can run after the catch & break tackles.
                                Thanks Ted!
