Interesting how Kansas City's most indispensable player is going to hold out over a contract dispute and Oakland's most indispensable player has never played a down in an Oakland Raiders uniform.

Brett Favre is far and away GB's most important player. No other player should even be in the conversation.

What would preseason predictions look like if Aaron Rodgers were listed as the starter??? I doubt even the Kool-Aid drinkers would be picking much above 6-10.

If Rodgers was starting I'd say 6-10. Good guess Wist

With Favre I've been saying 9-7.

Without Kampman I'd say 7-9. Without Hawk I'd say 7-9. Without Kampman, Hawk or Favre I'd say 1-15.

Without Favre, this team would be LUCKY to win 4 games.

To put it mildly...this offense can't punch it into the endzone despite having one of the most prolific scoring QBs leading the offense due to a lack of weapons and an inexperienced OL. If we didn't have Favre, this team wouldn't muster more than 10 points a game.

How sad is it that Minnesota's most indepensible player is a gaurd.
Chris: Dad, what's the blow-hole for?
Peter: I'll tell you what it's not for, son. And when I do, you'll understand why I can never go back to Sea World.

Favre is just an average starting QB now. (Well, still the best QB in NFC-North, but its a weak division for QBs.) If Rodgers is not good enough to win, they should have drafted a new one. I think Ted Thompson, at least, thinks that the Packers can win regular season games with Rodgers.

I think Favre is way better than average, but I do agree with the quote I highlighted.

The thing is, will Brady Quinn amount to a HOFer? Realistically, that's the only QBI wonder if we should have nabbed. Even though Leinert was on the board the previous year, too, I wanted Hawk badly.

I think Harrell is a great pick, but Brady was sitting right there...
