Not a chance, it wouldn't even make sense. Situational pass rushers are valuable in this league. Does everybody forget what we gave up for R-Kal Truluck? (He's like 8% of the player KGB is too.)

Packers to cut KGB?

Nope. KGB and Kampmann are the only proven pass rushers in the DLine. He's taking the change like a pro and he doesn't seem like the "locker room cancer" type of guy. I think the switch will prolong his career and make him just as effective as if he were full-time starter.
Let's say GB cuts him...what do you think he'd get on the FA market? Would it be much different from what he's making now? He can still rush the QB and is a high character guy, so he has some value. OTOH, let's say TT wanted to bolster the pass rush with a DE...who would he get and what would he have to pay?
They might try to restructure future contract years, but I'd be shocked if they cut him. (This year, anyway)

As with a lot of issues this season, whether or not KGB is effective is completely wait and see imo.
He is a speed rusher. Clifton knows him well and probably cheats him outside 'cause he ain't going inside. Over the years I think most tackles have figured him out, and when one hasn't he gets his sacks in bunches.
If he has lost any of that speed he has lost everything he brings to this game and he probably will be cut.
As the Defensive line gets deeper he will need more than his great attitude to keep a job in Green Bay, especially considering the price.
With a good camp he stays, with a poor camp he's right down to 50/50.[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.
