I think Bearman needs more steroids.

Some would say he's overshadowed - I think he's been 3rd in team tackles for the last few years - not too bad.

Hillenmeyer is okay, but no better than average.

A LB finishing 3rd in tackles for a team that plays a 4-3 defense isn't anything special. A closer look at his tackle totals doesn't look impressive. He had 48 tackles last year, 63 the year before, and 76 the year before that. Not very impressive. Then again, he's the first LB taken off the field in passing situations. The downside with him is that he never seems to make any plays. Four years with the Bears (one as a backup) has netted him 3.5 sacks, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, and just 6 passes defensed.

That's unfortunate for him. I've heard so many people say that it was such a big mistake to cut him..But he is an average player at best..

The Bears will, unfortunately, be fine without him..

Average players play great when they are playing for a great team !

I guess you have a unique perspective on that.......seeing as how the Bears pretty much sucked for twenty years before the last few.

All you pack fans live in the past ? Wake up, smell the frozen tundra, live life in the here and now. Here and Now Da BEARS are the class of the NFCN, and the NFC for that matter. After watching them play last night, they have a very good chance of going to the SB again this season and winning it this time !
Rex and Kyle looked sharp, the "D" looked great ! Looks like we will pick up where we left off, kicking arse and taking names !

Losing badly to the Packers and being embarrassed in the Super Bowl by the Colts?
