He started over Javon Walker in 2003 and 2004 I believe. Mike Sherman thinks so much of him taht we might be able to get a 3rd or 4th rounder For some reason I think he will land in Houston. I jsut get a hunch that he wants to go back to his family and his second father "mike sherman"

Yeah, yeah, yeah....the writing was on the wall. I'm more interested in what the Packers can get for him. The article said the Packers are talking to several teams about a possible trade. Who is going to give anything for Fergie?

And I am not saying WOW because he is getting the boot but rather how it is being done.

1. Why would you admit that you are done with him if you want to make a trade?

2. Did Fergie's attitude go south? Why woud they handle it this way? Strange? Either cut the guy or make the trade and then announce what has occured. To just send him home with out knowing his fate is strange.

I agree. Its certainly an unorthodox method. However, most people probably knew he was on the ropes anyway. His only trade value is if a suitor thinks there may be competition on the market.
